A quick tour of Florida.

A few pictures from our trip to Florida. Isaac had his first bike ride, played some basketball, and got his first blackeye. He also went to the happiest place on earth, but did not see Mickey Mouse. He did have breakfast with the Pelt family instead. Did I mention that sinks are great fun to play in?

Still on vacation

Although Tim has returned to work this very morning, Isaac and Amanda are still in Florida until Thursday. We'll catch up then.

Today Isaac became a real boy. He got his first black eye. He fell down and hit the side of his face on a coffee table. Picture will follow soon.

ISAAC TURNS ONE!

The Long family is in Florida. Yesterday was technically Isaac's one year birthday, but we celebrated today. The party was an amazing success: a PERFECT location (Thank you, O'Lyn), PERFECT food (Thank you, Jaja), PERFECT hostessing (Thank you, Nana), and a Shire cake that you will not believe even after you see the picture (Thank you, Lindsay and Nana). A Swingin' Time

Today is a beautiful day in Northern Virginia! We went to our neighborhood park for the first time to swing on the baby swing. We got mixed reviews:

One Exam Down, One Exam To Go...

Some of you may know that I have been taking classes for the past two weeks so that I can get my real estate license in the State of Virginia. In order to take the state exam, I must pass the class exam. I am happy to say that I passed the class exam on my first try in just over an hour this very afternoon. It takes several days for the state to be notified of my class exam status, so I do not yet have my state licensing exam scheduled. Stay tuned...

UPDATE: My licensing exam is scheduled for Saturday, February 9, 2008.

When Mom is Away...

Amanda has been taking Real Estate classes. When she is at class I get Isaac all to myself. I have watched Isaac be fed by Amanda over and over. He almost always comes out clean. I am not sure what she does different.

Any tips?
